Lumens – Lumens measure the amount of light your LED light puts out which means the higher the lumens, the brighter the light will be.
Wattage – Wattage is a unit of measure for energy use and has nothing to do with the brightness of the LED. Now that it’s clear that wattage measures energy rather than light output, the lower the number of watts used in an LED panel light, the higher the energy saving. This means you will save more on your monthly electricity bill.
Veti’s range of LED ceiling lights are ideal for locations where a large lighting fixture is not required or wanted for the sake of the décor and/or ambiance of the room. Ceiling lights focus their light downwards as either a broad floodlight or a focused spotlight, depending on what the customer requires.
There are two types of ceiling lights in the Veti range, surface-mounted or flush-mounted (recessed). Each type of ceiling light is available in a square or round shape, and all operate at 3W, producing Cool White light or Warm White light at around 255 lumens (lm).
The surface-mounted lights are attached to ceilings made from concrete or where the ceiling void is to shallow to fit a recessed downlight. All surface-mounted products are rated IP20.
The flush-mounted lights are recessed into the ceiling through a hole of between 30mm and 90mm, depending on the range of lights chosen. As the name suggests, the body of the light is hidden in the ceiling with only the trim exposed. This makes the light’s housing almost invisible while they are still able to provide bright illumination to a room.
Veti ceiling lights are easy to install as they are provided in an integrated housing that contains the entire light. The surface-mounted lights include a remote driver, while the flush-mounted lights have loose remote drivers. The full product range is available as non-dimmable celling lights.
Ranges to choose from
The B3 range is available as surface- or flush-mounted lights. The surface-mounted lights deliver a 60-degree beam angle and the flush-mounted lights a 30-degree narrow beam angle from a 30mm cut-out hole.
The D4 range also includes flush- and surface-mounted ceiling lights offering a 45-degree or 60-degree beam angle, with the flush-mounted lights requiring a cut out between 50mm and 90mm depending on the lights chosen.
The D5 range consists of only flush-mounted lights with a clear acrylic frosting over the LEDs. The D5 range is also rated IP20 and offers a 360-degree beam angle with a cut-out sized between 40mm and 80mm depending on the particular light chosen.
All Veti ceiling lights are available as non-dimmable lights, include drivers and can produce a range of colours depending on the LEDs used.
